The surgery is streamlining the procedure for ordering prescriptions.
From Monday 30th October 2017, if you wish to order a prescription by telephone you will need to press Option 3 from the main telephone menu.
Your call will be directed to the prescription voicemail system which is available 24 hours a day. Your calls will be processed by our prescription team during working hours and will be ready for collection two working days after placing your order. When leaving your message, please state your full name, date of birth and the medication you require.
Should you have a query about your medication, please leave a full and clear description of the query on the voicemail system and the prescription staff will investigate for you.
Other ways you can order medication:
At the surgery
If you wish to order your prescription at the surgery, please complete the prescription request slip which is available in the foyer. Complete the form with the medication required and place in the prescription box.
Prescriptions can be ordered online. For access to this facility, you will need to request a password for online services. Please ask reception staff for more information.
Electronic prescribing is available at all local pharmacies. This is a fast and efficient service run by the pharmacy. If you would like more information on this service, please contact your pharmacy. Pharmacies can also arrange to order your regular medication which prevents urgent requests for medication.
