Order Repeat Medication
The practice runs a ‘repeat prescription system’ which allows some patients to have regular medication without seeing the doctor each time.
Prescriptions should be ordered 7 days before your supply runs out, please click the button below to see how ordering prescriptions every 21 days can cause an accumulation of medication.
Prescription Ordering ScehduleYour medication will need to be reviewed regularly. When due for such a check, you will be invited for an appointment to see your doctor. Please ensure you attend these appointments as further repeats will not be available until you have seen the doctor.
Repeat prescriptions will be sent to your registered pharmacy within 2 working days. However, please be aware that the pharmacies also have a 48-72 hour turnaround so please make sure you order your medication in time. You can locate your closest pharmacy using the tool below.
All prescriptions should be ordered using the following methods. To help keep the phone lines free for urgent appointments, we ask patients to NOT call reception to order any repeat prescriptions.
- Online Services/SystmOnline and the NHS App
- Patient Partner (Speak with reception to be given a PIN)
- Posting your prescription at the letter box provided in reception
